Privacy statement

Last updated: October 2026

WDE-Solutions VOF (hereinafter "WDE-Solutions") considers the protection of your personal data important. In this statement, you can read which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy legislation.

Who is the data controller?

WDE-Solutions VOF, Wijgmaalsesteenweg 117A, 3150 Haacht, company number 0678.987.825. For questions about your data, email info@wde-solutions.be.

What data do we process?

We only process the data needed for the purposes below:

  • identity and contact details, such as your name, address, phone number and email address
  • details of your project, such as the address of the site, a description of what you would like, photos and plans
  • the content of your messages and emails to us
  • billing details, if you become a customer
  • technical data such as your IP address, which our hosting provider records to keep the website running securely

Why do we process your data?

  • To answer your question or quote request. We do this at your request, as a step towards a possible contract.
  • To perform our contract with you: the measuring, the order, the installation, the invoicing and the follow-up of your project.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as our accounting and tax obligations.
  • With your consent, for example to use photos of your project as a reference. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who receives your data?

We never sell your data. We only share it when necessary:

  • with service providers who help us, such as our hosting provider Cloudflare (website and spam protection for the forms), Resend (sending the form messages), our email service and our accountant. They only process your data on our instructions.
  • with suppliers involved in your project, such as Winsol for the production of your windows, doors or sun protection, insofar as this is necessary to carry out the work
  • with public authorities, if the law requires us to do so

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long do we keep your data?

No longer than necessary. If no contract is concluded, we delete your request as soon as it is no longer relevant. Data that we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, is kept for the statutory period.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies to track you or for advertising. The map on the contact page is only loaded from OpenStreetMap when you click on it yourself. The forms are protected against spam with Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks technical data from your browser to determine whether a human is filling in the form, and it is not used to track you or for advertising.

How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Only people who need the data for their work have access to it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to object to its processing and to have your data transferred (data portability). Send your request to info@wde-solutions.be. We will reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse/Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
