Quotes and scheduling
Is a quote without obligation?
Yes. We come round, measure everything and send you a detailed quote. We only place the order once you approve it.
How do I request a quote?
Through the quote form, by calling 0475 39 13 00 or 016 85 05 02, or by emailing info@wde-solutions.be. Photos of your façade or windows already help us get a first idea.
How long does it take before my windows are installed?
Everything is made to measure, so there is always some time between the order and the installation. With the quote and when we place the order, we'll tell you when we can install.
Do you also take on small jobs?
Yes. A single front door, a few insect screens or some extra sockets are just as welcome as a full renovation.
Windows and doors
PVC (uPVC) or aluminium: which should I choose?
PVC is budget-friendly and insulates very well. Aluminium is stronger, so the profiles stay slimmer, even for large windows and sliding windows. During the home visit we look at what suits your home best.
Which colours are available?
Both PVC and aluminium come in many colours and finishes, from white and anthracite to a wood look. We bring samples to the home visit.
Will my house be secure while the work is going on?
We plan the work so that your home is always locked up in the evening.
Roller shutters, screens and insect screens
Screens or roller shutters?
Screens keep out the sun while you can still see outside. Roller shutters black out the room completely and give extra protection against burglary. A combination is often the best choice.
Can roller shutters or screens be fitted to my existing windows?
Yes. We fit front-mounted roller shutters and surface-mounted screens to existing windows, without any demolition work. Solar-powered versions are also available, and then no wiring is needed.
Can my roller shutters and screens work automatically?
Yes. With a sun or wind sensor, a timer or home automation, they go up and down automatically.
Garage doors
Can my old up-and-over garage door be replaced with a sectional door?
Usually, yes. Winsol's Comfort-Go is designed precisely to replace an old up-and-over door.
Are the garage doors burglar-resistant?
Yes. All Winsol sectional garage doors have an RC2 security certificate.
Electrical work
What electrical work can you do for me?
New installations, renovations and extensions, fuse boxes, intercoms and video intercoms, smoke detectors, home automation and lighting.
Do I need smoke detectors?
Yes. Under Flemish rules, every home must have smoke detectors, even if you live in it yourself. We install them in the right places.
Do you make lighting plans?
Yes. Where needed, we draw up a free lighting study, so you know which lighting goes where.
VAT and grants
How much VAT will I pay?
For renovating a home that is more than ten years old, 6% VAT applies, subject to conditions. For new builds it is usually 21%. We apply the correct rate on your quote.
Can I get a grant for new windows?
Grants are sometimes available for energy-saving renovations, such as better insulating glazing. The conditions change regularly. Check vlaanderen.be or ask your municipality's energy advice desk (energieloket). We provide the technical details you need.
